If you are on repeat prescriptions please ensure you order these in plenty of time so you have enough to last you over the holiday period

If you require a doctor during the holiday period, please ring the normal surgery telephone number and you will be put through to the out of hours service. The NHS 111 number is also available.

WALK IN CENTRE
Located at the Sheffield City GP Health Centre on Broad Lane, the NHS walk in centre is open from 8am to 10pm every day including the Bank Holidays dealing with a range of minor illness and ailments. No appointment necessary.

MINOR INJURIES UNIT - ADULTS ONLY
Situated on B floor at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. No appointment necessary.

Children should be taken to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital
If you need a doctor outside normal surgery opening hours your call to the surgery will be automatically redirected to the Out-of-Hours Service or NHS 111. If a GP appointment is necessary you will be sent to one of the four medical centres which are open across the City (Sat & Sun 10am-6pm, Weekday evenings 6-10pm).

You may be given advice or asked to attend the emergency department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital or Northern General Hospital.
There is also a walk-in service at the Sheffield City GP Health Centre, Broad Lane, Sheffield.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
